Francesco Lurgo, born in Turin and based in Milan, has been active for years in musical research and experimentation. In his solo work, he moves within a sonic universe that blends ambient and drone expansiveness with a cinematic sensibility, angular electronic experimentations, and a taste for melody inherited from post-rock. He collaborates with professionals in prose theatre. In the autumn of 2024, he released his second full-length album "The Gentle Whale" on the historic label Silentes.
