J WAX
Hailing from Tayport but currently based in Edinburgh, J Wax embarked on their music release journey in 2019. Despite a relatively brief tenure, this talented DJ and producer has rapidly made waves in the music scene, boasting notable releases with renowned labels such as Future Classic and Headroom Records. Additionally, J Wax is an integral part of the vibrant collective and label known as Palidrone. His eclectic sets seamlessly traverse a spectrum of genres including breakbeat, garage, techno, and beyond, solidifying J Wax's reputation as an artist rapidly gaining momentum in the industry.
Palidrone co-founder Provost has been an integral part of the collective since day 1. A versatile DJ who's been called up for warmup slots for DJ Stingray, Giant Swan, SPFDJ, VTSS, Teki Latex and Tim Reaper over the years, he made his production debut in 2022 with 'Green Gills' – a broken hybrid of UK bass, grime and techno supported by DJs including Carista, Carlton Doom, Sputnik One and Kassian among others. More music is set to come out in early 2024.
