Benjamin Fröhlich

Benjamin Fröhlich worked as a party organiser and record-shop owner before co-founding Permanent Vacation with Tom Bioly in 2006. The Munich label released early work by John Talabot, Todd Terje, Tensnake and Mano Le Tough. Fröhlich and Bioly also perform together as Permanent Vacation, while Fröhlich maintains a solo production and remix catalogue.

His debut album Amiata appeared on the label in May 2019. Its nine tracks include Last Night with Dreamcast and draw on dub, Italo-disco, boogie, breakbeat, electro and house. The album followed several solo EPs and remixes, including a Tuff City Kids reworking. Later releases include The Love Dilemma remix series and Where Do We Go? Fröhlich continues to divide his work between record curation, DJing and studio production.
