Fiorious

Fiorious is a Bronx-born singer and songwriter working in house, disco and pop. I’m Not Defeated, written with producer Bawrut, appeared through Glitterbox in 2019. In interviews, he described the song as a response to a breakup and attacks on LGBTQ people. Its video uses images of activism and queer resistance, placing the song within the history of queer protest.

He has discussed the club’s role as a place of both pleasure and visibility for LGBTQ communities. His later Permanent Vacation releases include Look What You’ve Done with Alex Virgo, Future Romanze with Bawrut and Dumar, and Hypnosis with Joe Goddard. The catalogue also contains collaborations with Deetron, Will Saul, Henrik Schwarz and Austin Ato.
