Michele Mininni

Michele Mininni began DJing before starting production in 2013 with a computer and digital audio workstation. In a 2024 interview, he described a background in new wave, post-rock, post-punk and experimental music, naming the Residents and Supreme Dicks among his interests. Early releases appeared on Optimo Trax, followed by Rave Oscillations on R&S in 2017.

His debut album Pop Archetypes appeared on Hell Yeah Recordings in 2024. Mininni began it after returning to production to make a short advertising soundtrack, then developed the album over four months. He worked with label founder Marco Gallerani, whom he had met around his first Optimo release. The artwork is by Lecce artist Sandro Leucci. Later releases include Urban Voodoo, Carousel of Tears and Vertigo.
