Squarepusher

Thomas Russell Jenkinson records as Squarepusher. His music incorporates drum and bass, acid techno, jazz fusion and electroacoustic music, with bass playing alongside programmed percussion and digital processing. He began releasing in the mid-1990s and has recorded for Warp and Rephlex. His brother Andy Jenkinson records as Ceephax Acid Crew.

His own Bandcamp catalogue includes Stereotype and the twentieth-anniversary edition of Ultravisitor. Released as a new edition in 2024, Ultravisitor returns to recordings originally published twenty years earlier. Jenkinson plays bass as well as programming and processing electronic sound; both forms of performance appear in his recorded work. Rephlex and Warp catalogue his music under the Squarepusher name.
