Modular Project first rose to prominence with their fresh remix of the Blond:ish classic ‘Wizard of Love’. Released on Rebirth Records, the track became one the label’s most requested of the last decade. The duo followed up their success by founding their own imprint Nothing is Real and their current 'Robot Studio' situated in Monza, Italy.
A further collaboration on Rebirth gained more attention for the pair in 2018, with single ‘Leaving’ getting the remix treatment from both legendary Acid Pauli and the Danish producer Kasper Bjørke. 2018 also saw the duo playing regularly at some of Europe’s most prestigious clubs. 2019 has seen Modular Project rise to global notoriety, with their release '1981' on hfn music causing a stir, and the electrifying Kraut-techno track ‘Past Present Future’ appearing in sets from high-profile DJs across the globe. An inspired collaboration with classically trained artist Eleonora on ‘Vivid Poison’ followed, a pioneering track that showcases Modular Project’s ability to combine emotional vocals with dynamic rhythms to create a sound that is both evocative of the past and representative of the future, receiving two brilliant mixes by Perel and Autarkic.
Musically speaking 2020 and 2021 are the most prolific years for the duo, signing several releases on Permanent Vacation, Nothing Is Real, Motordiscs, Duro, Relish and Freeride Millenium. Probably their strongest tunes are the remix for Robi Insinna/Headman's iconic track 'Be Loved' alongside the dancefloor beasts 'Supernova' that reached the number 1 position on Beatport Indie Dance chart and 'Electronic Disco'. The last months have seen Modular Project in tour, playing at renowned clubs like Le Sucre (Lyon), The Block (Tel Aviv), Zukunft (Zürich), Ritter Butzke (Berlin) and more.
