KMRU (Joseph Kamaru) is a Nairobi-born, Berlin-based sound artist whose work blends field recordings, noise and ambient composition. He has released on Editions Mego and Subtext, and his practice explores expanded modes of listening through composition, installation and live performance at venues including the Barbican, Berlin Atonal and Dekmantel.
