Early Sounds Recordings is a Naples-based label run by Pellegrino S. Snichelotto. Its early production circle also included Massimo Di Lena and Dario Di Pace. The catalogue covers disco, funk, jazz-influenced electronic music and recordings associated with Naples, including Nu Guinea's The Tony Allen Experiments and Pellegrino's debut album Periplo.
Pellegrino subsequently recorded with Zodyaco, releasing Pellegrino pres. Zodyaco, Morphé and Quimere, followed by singles including Malìa, L'aura and Koinè. The label also issued the Napoli Segreta compilation, the Italian Erotic Sounds collection and Klaus Krüger's Advanced Dance. These sit alongside new productions, remixes and archival releases. Its official Napoletana credits identify musicians, recording at The 8 Studio near Vesuvius and separate original and club versions, documenting how the label's current records are produced as well as where they originate.
