Volcov, also known as Enrico Crivellaro, founded Neroli in Verona in 2000 after running Archive. The label takes its name from Brian Eno's Neroli album. Its catalogue includes house, broken beat and instrumental electronic music, with releases by Kirk Degiorgio, Dego, Domu, Trinidadian Deep, Kaidi Tatham and Patrick Gibin. Several editions are issued exclusively on vinyl.
The First Circle marked the twentieth anniversary in 2020 with contributions from K15, Patrice Scott, Aybee, Ian O'Brien, Fred P and Linkwood, alongside other label contributors. The Second Circle followed for the twenty-fifth anniversary, adding Claude Young, Joe Claussell, Jordan GCZ, Other Lands, Zopelar and Meftah. Neroli also worked with the Verona label and pressing operation Mother Tongue on collaborative EPs drawn from the archives of Glenn Underground and Jovonn.
