Ebbb
Ebbb is a London group consisting of producer Lev Ceylan, singer Will Rowland and live drummer Scott MacDonald, releasing electronic vocal music through Ninja Tune.
Ebbb brings together producer Lev Ceylan and vocalist Will Rowland, with Scott MacDonald joining on live drums. The group developed through London’s underground live scene. Ceylan previously worked as a sound technician at Munich’s Isar Philharmonic, where hearing classical performances contributed to his production interests. Their recordings place layered vocals against electronic arrangements that range from ambient passages to industrial and gabber rhythms.
Ninja Tune released the five-track debut EP All At Once in June 2024. Himmel begins with choral-style vocals before a heavily programmed rhythm enters; Torn adapts an eighth-century plainchant. The group played headline shows and support slots for the Smile, Mary in the Junkyard and Scaler. Subsequent singles include Manners, Eyes, Book That You Like and Home Ground.
