Pearson Sound

David Kennedy releases music as Pearson Sound and has also used the names Ramadanman and Maurice Donovan. In 2007 he founded Hessle Audio with Ben Thomson, known as Ben UFO, and Kevin McAuley, known as Pangaea. His production has drawn on house, dubstep, UK funky, garage and jungle.

The self-titled Pearson Sound album was released by Hessle Audio in March 2015. Kennedy described its recording process as passing sounds between pieces of equipment and working with the resulting feedback. Later releases include the Alien Mode EP and Red Sky. His FabricLive.56 mix was credited to Pearson Sound and Ramadanman, retaining both names used in his earlier recording catalogue.
