Hessle Audio is the London label founded by Ben UFO, Pangaea and Pearson Sound. Its releases emerged from the overlap between dubstep, UK garage, house and techno, keeping an interest in bass weight and rhythmic experimentation as those scenes changed. The founders' own productions sit beside records by artists including TRG, Peverelist, James Blake, Blawan and Objekt.
Later releases by Bruce, Joe, Olof Dreijer and Impérieux continue that range. Pangaea and Pearson Sound release their own music on Hessle Audio; Ben UFO works as a DJ and co-runs the label.
