C2C Festival

C2C began in Turin in 2002 as Club To Club, a circuit of club events organised by the cultural association Situazione Xplosiva. One ticket gave access to several venues. The programme gradually expanded from DJ sets into live performances and productions connecting electronic music, experimental pop and audiovisual art. Lingotto, the former FIAT factory complex, became its main hub in 2007; OGR Torino joined the festival in 2017. Held around Turin’s contemporary art week, C2C places club culture in conversation with the city’s cultural institutions and industrial architecture. Its archive runs from Jeff Mills and Ricardo Villalobos to Arca, Autechre, Caroline Polachek and Kraftwerk’s eight 3D concerts. The book We Call It Avant-Pop, published in 2023, documents its first twenty editions and the development of that musical approach.
