Polifonic began in Puglia in 2017, bringing disco, house and techno into a festival shaped around the region’s landscape and cultural life.
Polifonic began in Puglia in 2017, bringing disco, house and techno into a festival shaped around the region’s landscape and cultural life. Masseria Capece, near Cisternino in the Valle d’Itria, has become a central site, with performances spread across stages in an olive-growing estate. The programme has also used coastal venues, including Le Palme Beach Club, giving different days different settings. Live acts and DJ sets share the bill: the 2023 edition included Nu Genea, KiNK, Kerri Chandler and Marcel Dettmann, illustrating the range between live instrumentation, house and techno. Art, food and the relationship with the surrounding area are part of the organisers’ stated approach.
