An alpine fortress in the Stura di Demonte valley, commissioned by Charles Albert of Savoy in 1834 and finished in 1847 to guard the passes to France: 1,200 metres of walls and ten kilometres of walkways on three levels. Now a museum and, every September, the home of Komorebi Music Festival.
