The American pianist in a Paris jazz club, between standards, Radiohead and Nick Drake. A portrait from the Jazz Collection series on Arte. 55 min
Passing through Paris, Brad Mehldau talks and plays in a club where he feels at home. He made his international debut in the early 1990s and, mostly in trio, gives new life to standards by Coltrane, Gershwin and Monk, as well as to songs by Radiohead and Nick Drake, whose River Man he plays here.
