Superpitcher

Aksel Schaufler began recording as Superpitcher in the 1990s and became closely associated with Cologne’s Kompakt label. Shadows appeared on Total 2 in 2000. His work includes solo recordings and remixes, alongside Supermayer with Michael Mayer. That partnership released Save the World in 2007.

Schaufler and Rebolledo formed Pachanga Boys in 2011 and established the Hippie Dance label. Superpitcher’s The Golden Ravedays appeared in 2017 as twelve releases containing twenty-four tracks, issued across the year. The complete sequence was also collected in a box set. Later Kompakt releases include Lonely Lover, Lush Life, Hollywood and Disco in the Sky. Schaufler also maintains a DJ career and has worked from Paris.
