Ostgut Ton is the label associated with Berlin's Berghain and Panorama Bar, with a catalogue built around the club's residents and their wider musical relationships. Early releases featured André Galluzzi, Cassy and Ben Klock; Marcel Dettmann, Nick Höppner, Steffi, Prosumer and Tama Sumo also became part of its recording history.
The Berghain and Panorama Bar mix series document different approaches to DJing, while artist albums and EPs give those approaches a studio counterpart. Shed, Efdemin, Tobias. and Planetary Assault Systems expanded the catalogue's range across house, techno and experimental electronics. Releases by Barker and JASSS, together with projects on the associated A-TON imprint, make room for work beyond conventional club structures.
