PAN: releases and artists

Bill Kouligas founded PAN in 2008. Based in Berlin, the label works across recorded music, performance and contemporary art, with a catalogue that includes both club-related electronics and forms of composition that resist a genre description. Artists such as Helm, Lee Gamble and M.E.S.H. sit alongside Amnesia Scanner, Eartheater, Yves Tumor and Anne Imhof.

The 2017 compilation Mono No Aware gathered ambient works into a shared release, giving another perspective on a catalogue often associated with experimental sound. PAN's collaborations with art institutions, including London's ICA, connect records to exhibitions and performances.
